Calpe has launched its official tourist app, allowing residents and visitors to explore the city's full tourist offerings, including key points of interest such as its beaches.

Available for both Android and iOS in up to 10 languages, the app offers multiple features to help users discover Calpe’s beaches, hotels, restaurants, stores, and any other needs during their stay.

Upon accessing the app, users can complete a survey with questions of interest to the Calpe City Council, with the answers integrated into the tourism management platform.

trip planner has been developed allowing visitors to organize their trips based on Calpe’s events and activities calendar, making it easier to plan their stay.

The app also includes recommended plans suggested by the City Council, Users can choose these predefined plans or design their own based on personal interests and needs and share them through social media.

Additionally, the app integrates with beacons (Bluetooth devices) installed at key points of interest. When the app detects a nearby beacon, it sends a notification to the user. Tapping the notification opens a summary of the information for that particular point of interest.

The points of interest are organized into categories (accessible from the menu) to help users quickly find what they’re looking for. Within each category, users can search by name or explore different subcategories.

Each point of interest includes a brief description, a catalog of services offered, its location on an interactive map, options to share on social media, and the ability to add it to the trip planner.

All information is sourced from the content management system and stored in the local database, ensuring the app remains operational even if the connection is lost.
