On September 15, Zitycard will participate in the First Blockchain Alcoy Conference. The event has been organized by Distrito Digital Comunitat Valenciana in collaboration with the Alcoy City Council and the Alcoy Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València. The main goal of the event is to inform businesses about the real uses and applications of blockchain technology.

The event will have special collaboration from the Chamber of Commerce and Blockchain FUE, who will analyze real problems and solutions, exploring the various possibilities blockchain offers to businesses by applying specific processes and technologies.

The event will last all day and will be structured in two parts:

  • 1º Part: In the morning, business executives will have the opportunity to learn about real blockchain cases applied to companies from various sectors.
  • 2ª Part: In the afternoon, professionals and students can participate in practical workshops on blockchain technology and current projects in development.

This is a unique opportunity for industry professionals, digital companies, and technology leaders to share their views and debate the use of blockchain technology, providing a comprehensive understanding of its application in businesses.

4:00 – 7:00 PM: Workshops and practical cases for professionals and students.

  • 4:00 – 6:00 PM: Workshop on "Using a Blockchain Network as an Immutable Database (CRAB – Create, Retrieve, Append, Burn)" led by Ramón Martínez from BAES.

The goal of the workshop is to learn how to use a blockchain network through a JSON API, performing all necessary operations while understanding its limitations and strengths. In current databases, we are familiar with CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete). Blockchain networks act as a database but do not allow for updates or deletions.

The goal of the workshop is to learn the real use of the Dalion project’s digital identity wallet.
